DEAL, Steven L.
Paw Paw, MI
Age 82, died at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo following a long illness. Steven was born on April 14, 1943 in Paw Paw, the son of Freeman and Bessie (Matthews) Deal. He retired from Checker Motor Company in 2004 after 40+ years of service as an inspector. Steven was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Charlie, Ben and Don. Members of his family include his wife of 61 years, Lucy Deal; 2 children: Tina (Ricky) Phillips and Dawn Grandy (Deal); and 2 grandchildren: Brandon and Joshua. Burial will take place Wednesday, August 6, 2025, 2:30PM at Wildey Cemetery in Paw Paw.
