Randy Ballard

Age 58, died on February 25, 2021. Randy was born November 14, 1962 in Kalamazoo, the son of James and Joyce (Hensley) Ballard. Kindhearted and a quiet man by nature, Randy loved nothing more than spending time with the family he cared for with all his heart. He enjoyed 20 years together with his first wife, Terri, with whom he raised three wonderful children. He met his second wife, Tammy, while working together. Among his favorite things were his dog, Bocefus, and diligently cheering on his Detroit Lions. If they had a game, you could bet Randy was watching or listening to it, always hoping for a playoff win. He enjoyed long haul driving for Fed Ex and often recounted stories to his kids about towns he travelled through or places he’d been. Without a doubt though, Randy’s grandkids were the source of his greatest joy and they were the twinkle in his eye.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff Ballard. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Tammy; children: Lindsey (Nate) Beauchamp, Lance Ballard, and Mallory Ballard; grandchildren: Leila, Ramon, Rylee, and Charlee; siblings: Jimmy (Pam) Ballard, Tammy Cylmer, and Steve Ballard; and many nieces and nephews.
