Mary Boven

Age 70, died on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born on June 30, 1951, at Borgess Hospital, the youngest child of Peter and Borgia (Vyverman) Boven. Mary has lived in the area for her entire life and for the past 15 years she has lived at Sunny Acres Adult Foster Care Home in Decatur. She loved going to McDonalds, the Hard Time Restaurant and liked eating potato chips. A very quiet person that loved a good joke and liked the company of her brothers and sisters. Members of her family include her brothers and sisters: Jim A Boven, Jean (Bill) Smith, Carol Beutler, Rick (Nancy) Boven, Ron (Janna) Boven and Dave J (Patricia) Boven; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation has taken place and private services will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan.
