James Meyer of Kalamazoo, age 77, died on December 10, 2021. James was born February 18, 1944 in Tinley Park, IL to Reinhart and Wilma Meyer. After graduation from Western Illinois University with his bachelor’s degree James began his lifelong journey into small business management. He loved spending time with family, especially during the Christmas holiday. James enjoyed the family cottage on the Lake of the Woods in Decatur, Michigan. James was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jerry (Vita) Meyer. Surviving are his siblings: Robert (Eunice) Meyer, William Meyer, and Jon (Cindy) Meyer; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will take place 10AM (CST) Thursday, December 16 at Skyline Memorial Park, 24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449.
