Life Story / Obituary
Fay Marks of Lawton, age 93, died comfortably at home on September 20, 2021 surrounded by family. Fay was born October 12, 1927 in Hinsdale, IL. Always willing to try something new, Fay had a unique sense of fun and spirit. She loved dancing and took every opportunity to hit the dance floor with Donald, her husband of 60 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and always had more than a few stories to share. Social and outgoing, Fay graciously gave the gift of friendship to all she met.
Surviving are her husband, Donald; children: Deborah (Lee) Gough, John (Barbara) Nagy, Steven Nagy, and Robert Nagy; grandchildren: James (Corrine) Larke and Michael (Andrea) Gough; great-granddaughter: Sydney Nicole; siblings: Donald (Betty) Dolan and Betty Ann Heimbach; and many nieces and nephews.
Please join us at a visitation Thursday (Sept 23) 5-7 PM at Betzler & Thompson Life Story Funeral Home, 60900 M-40, Paw Paw where a funeral service will also be held Friday (Sept 24) 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. It is requested that visitors wear masks while attending services.
