Angela "Angie" Doxey

Angela Marie Doxey, age 41, of Otsego, MI, departed this life suddenly at her home on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born on August 11, 1982, in Plainwell, Michigan, Angela was the beloved daughter of Russell and the late Janie (Millsap) Doxey.

A graduate of Plainwell High School, class of 2000, Angela dedicated herself to the role of homemaker, pouring her heart into caring for her cherished children, Dylan, Shelby and Skylar Doxey. Outside of her role as a devoted mother, Angela found solace and joy in her hobbies, including creating collages, gem art, and scrapbooking. Her creativity and artistic talents were evident in the beautiful works she created.

Angela will be deeply missed by her surviving family and friends, including her children, Dylan, Shelby and Skylar, father Russell Doxey, sister Amy (Charlie) Slone, sister Jennifer (Derrick) Evans, niece Victoria Evans, and numerous beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Janie; her Aunt Tina (Millsap) Grimm; her grandmother, Judith (Durr) Cardiff; and her great-grandparents, Harry and Jane (White) Durr.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Angela's life will be held at a later date, allowing friends and loved ones to come together to honor her memory and the impact she made on all who knew her.
