William Coleman

Died June 2, 2003 at Lakeview Community Hospital in Paw Paw. Bill was born September 7, 1921 in Lawton the son of David and Dorothy (Burgess) Coleman. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Bill was a Past Master of the Lawton Masonic Lodge. He was employed much of his life with Consumers Sand and Gravel as a redi-mix truck driver and was active in the Teamsters Union. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia (Harasim) Coleman; and his third wife, Eilene (Roberts) Coleman. Surviving are two children: Linda (Robert) Coleman Shirkey of Mason, MI, and Patricia (Thomas) Coleman Harrell of Winter Garden, FL; five grandchildren: Eric (Jennifer) Harrell of Columbus, OH, Melissa (Gary) Harrell Hessert,

of Ocoee, FL, Matthew Harrell of San Diego, CA, Zachary Shirkey of New York, NY, and Kezia Shirkey of Mason, MI; two great-grandchildren; Brianne and Alicia Hessert. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Betzler & Thompson Funeral Homes M-40 South of I-94, Paw Paw 657-3870

The family will be present to receive friends Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton.
