Susan "Sue" Lansdale Fields

Susan "Sue" Lansdale Fields, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 64. She resided in Lawton, Michigan.

Born on November 26, 1960 in Euclid, Ohio, Susan was the daughter of the late Florence and William Rac. She grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan with her siblings Judy and Bill. Sue graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 1979.

Sue had a vibrant spirit, evident in her lifelong passions. She was a devoted animal lover, finding joy and companionship in the creatures great and small that crossed her path. Her love for animals was only matched by her love for dancing. Through dance she created many lasting friendships. Sue was also a dedicated grandmother who was very involved in her grandchildren's day-to-day lives.

She is survived by her loving children, James and Jenessa; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Emily, William and Gemma; her great-grandchildren, Alanii and Marcellus; and her siblings, Judy and Bill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and William Rac.

Sue will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A private memorial event will be held to celebrate Sue's life.
