Steven Morrison

Steven L. Morrison, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2024, at the age of 85.

Born on July 6, 1938, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Gorden and Estella Morrison, Steve cherished his Battle Creek roots. A 1956 graduate of Lakeview High School, he continued his education at Western Michigan University.

For many years, Steve was a pillar of the Battle Creek community through his successful business, Morrison Appliance Service. He was known for his expertise, honesty, and dedication to his customers.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Steve's greatest joy was his family. He found immense love and happiness with his wife of 66 years, Nancy Lou Morrison, who predeceased him in 2020. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with cherished memories.

Steve is survived by his four children: Bill, Mindy (Bret), Amy (Chip), and Robert (Teri); his grandchildren: Kelly, Courtney, Natalie (Sean), Dustin (Kari), Morgan, Travis, Melanie (Rob); and a loving extended family that includes over a dozen great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Steve's spirit will be especially missed at Pine Lake, where he created countless happy memories with loved ones.
