Stacee Lee (Coe) Cunningham

Stacee died unexpectedly on July 23, 2023, in Kalamazoo. She was born June 16, 1959, to Lorenzo and Sally (Wood) Coe in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Stacee was 64 years old.

Stacee graduated from Comstock High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked in various occupations, including 25 years at Jewel Osco and as a beautician. Stacee often volunteered her skills as a beautician to the elderly and infirm. Stacee loved lifting others and brought her warmth and a beautiful smile wherever she went. She was happiest when she was with her friends, her sons, and her grandchildren. Stacee was an avid golfer and bowler and loved to shoot pool. Additionally, she enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and dancing. She brought vitality and fun to everyone around her. She was very dedicated and generous to those she loved. Stacee continued to demonstrate her generosity by donating her organs at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Lorenzo Coe; step Father, Robert (Bob) Waldron; brother Larry Coe, sister, Carla Coe, and her nephew; Evan Layne.

Stacee leaves behind her Mother, Sally Waldron, two sons, Johnny Cunningham and Jesse (Chelby) Cunningham, and grandchildren: Alek, Quinn, Camden, and Damien Cunningham. She is also survived by two brothers: James Coe and Robert “Bobby” Waldron, and several nieces and nephews: Daniel Hawley, Nichole and Nathan Joyner, and Georgia Waldron.

For those who would like to attend, Stacee’s celebration of life will be held at The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 98, at 1721 Riverview Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49004, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 6:00 PM.
