Roger Strzyzewski of Kalamazoo died on November 1, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1952, in Manistee Michigan, the son of Harry and Clara (Kowalski) Stryzewski. He graduated from Ferris State College and had lived in the Kalamazoo area for many years. Members of his family include his 5 brothers and sisters: Rosemary Morse, Richard and his wife Kristy Strzyzewski, SueAnn Mater, Ronald Strzyzewski, Rogene and her husband Alan Schweitzer; Nieces and nephews: Earl, Jeff, Kevin, Michael, Anne, Karen, Jacob, Stephanie. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Joshua.
Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, November 7 at St. Augustine Cathedral, 542 Michigan, Kalamazoo. Roger was a proud veteran of the United States Army so he will be buried with military honors at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
