Life Story / Obituary

Rick DeCrocker passed away on or around 3/1/20. He was the son of Joyce DeCrocker and Ray Meshkin. He was retired, and spent his life living in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Rick was intelligent and very analytically minded--a man who prided himself on learning new things and his years of hard work. He loved to sail and scuba dive and was most at home in the water. He also loved photography and for many years his dark room was one of his favorite places to be. Politics and space travel were two of his favorite passions, along with his beloved dogs. Some of his favorite memories were meeting Frank Zappa and seeing Pink Floyd in concert. He wanted the best for his sons and was a great believer in personal freedom. He is survived by a sister, Laura Callahan, and two sons: Christopher and Andrew. His intelligence, wish to see people happy, and passion for knowledge continue to inspire his loved ones. Rick was very loved and will be missed more than he knows.
