Richard Sears

Of Kalamazoo, MI formerly of Pembroke, ME - Age 73, died July 29, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Michigan. Richard was born June 19, 1948 in Eastport, ME, the son of Alfred and Norma (Cushing) Sears. He was an Army Veteran of Viet Nam, serving 3 tours. Richard worked for Georgia Pacific as a millwright. He enjoyed country music and was often seen riding his “buggy” through town and along the shoreline. Preceded in death by his parents and by 2 siblings: Sonia Sears and Alfred Sears, Jr. Members of his family include 3 children: Candi Geter, Jason Sears and Amanda Sears; 9 grandchildren: Jacob, Sonia, Shane, Jason, Jr., Collin, Anastasia, Anthony, Christopher and Stephanie; 2 siblings: Dennis (Marsha) Sears and Marlene Barrett; and 2 nephews: Justin Jones and Al Fishwick.
