Age 89, died on Thursday August 31, 2017. She was born on March 11, 1928 in Hesperia, the daughter of Loren and Rena (Munro) Robertson and grew up in the Hesperia/Fremont area. On September 9, 1950 she married James Bigelow at St. Luke Episcopal Church. Pat was a graduate of the Bronson School of Nursing and worked for many years as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Lacrosse, WI, William Crispe and Pipp Hospitals in Plainwell and the last few years of her career she worked as a hospice volunteer. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church and she adored her family. Members of her family include her husband, James; 2 children: Dee Reilly and Charlotte Andrist; a daughter-in-law, Becky Bigelow; 3 grandchildren: Elyse Warncke, Alex Bigelow and Nicholas Andrist; and 1 great grandchild: Jack Warncke. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas in 2000; and her sister, Jean Wade in 1970. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday (Sept. 9) at St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church, 2010 Nichols Road; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pat’s cremated remains will be buried at Mt. Home Cemetery.
