Neil White

Age 73, died on January 8, 2021. Neil was born September 25, 1947 in Blue Island, IL, the son of Warren and Dimple (Wilson) White. Neil spent his early years in big cities like Chicago, New Orleans, and Jackson. After proudly serving in the U.S. Army, Neil began a lifelong career with the railroad as a police officer. He enjoyed working for reputable companies such as Norfolk and Southern among a few others during his time. Neil had a knack for fixing things, and often preferred this over replacing them. He and his sweetheart, Marilyn, were married in 1970 and eventually settled on Gravel Lake in Lawton to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Marilyn always said Neil was the social one, as he engaged in conversations with the neighbors any chance he could. He also never missed the opportunity for a pontoon boat ride.

Neil is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn; one brother: Greg White; and his parents. Surviving are his two sons: Gene White and Chris White; and 4 grandchildren: Elaina, Jordan, Lucas, and Alex. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
