Nancy Weeks

Nancy Weeks of Kalamazoo, formerly of Allegan died on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on July 20, 1945, in Crawford Nebraska, the daughter of James and Flora Drumright. She came to Allegan in the mid 1960’s and devoted herself to hard work and loving her family. She was known for her strong work ethic and worked at several places over the years including Imperial Carving, Perrigo and the Life Saver factory in Holland for more than 30 years. She retired from the housekeeping department from Allegan General Hospital.

Nancy was a strict but loving Mother that demanded each of her children to obey rules and contribute to the upkeep of the house. She made holidays special and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy enjoyed going to the casinos, playing cards, sipping on a hot cup of coffee and seeing the beauty of the autumn colors. Members of her family include her children: Brenda Morris, Glenda (Maurice) Mortimore, John ( Amanda) Williams;10 grandchildren: Peter, Thomas, Cheryl, Carol, Dustin, Claire, Alyssa, Avery, Gary, Tim; Several great grandchildren; a brother Bobby Drumright. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Williams; 3 siblings: Donnie Drumright, Carol Sue Matheny , Jerry Drumright.
