KONING – HENRY, Nancy A.

Of Paw Paw

Age 79, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home in Paw Paw. She was born November 1, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Hendrix and Maxine (Simpson) Bowers. She was a gifted artist and taught jewelry making at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts for over 20 years. Known to be able to make anything out of anything and Nancy could always see the opportunity in “junk”. She cherished her time spent teaching the young and old and enjoyed spending time with her dogs. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, John Bowers and by her son, Joshua Fogderud. Members of her family include her husband of 30+years, Wayne Henry; sons: Eric Fogderud and Christopher (Kimberly) Koning; stepchildren: John Henry and Tracy Ante; 4 cherished grandchildren: D.J., Deacon, Alison, and Jay and 3 in-laws: Mike and Nancy Henry, Bill and Roxanne Henry and Jeffery Henry. Cremation will take place.
