Marilyn was born July 29, 1940 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Paul Stegenga. She was a registered nurse and most recently worked at the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital. She enjoyed music, theatre and the companionship of her pets.
Marilyn died May 9, 2007 at her residence. Cremation will take place. Family and friends will be received Monday from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo 6080 Stadium Drive 375-2900 where a service to honor her life will be held that evening at 7:30 PM.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. Members of her family include her son, David (Angelita); three grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, and Emiliana.
