Linda Bogema

Linda Bogema, age 71, of Portage died on Friday, December 13, 2019. She was born on September 14, 1948, the oldest child of Theodore and Juanita Mlodzinski and graduated from Plainwell High School in 1965. She was a longtime medical assistant for Healthcare Midwest and truly enjoyed her job as she was a people person and liked to help others. She later worked for Wal-Mart in Plainwell but after 14 years was forced to retire due to her failing health. Linda was a fighter as she was a breast cancer survivor and dealt with diabetes for years. Some of her hobbies include painting, refurbishing furniture, riding horses and picnics. She had a big heart and cherished her family. Surviving members of her family include her 2 sons: Aaron( Michele) Bogema and Matt Bogema, 3 grandchildren: Hannah, Chloe, Aleah, and a brother Tom. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
