Leslie Sheline

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leslie Sheline of Bangor, Michigan. She went home to be with the Lord at the age of 81 on March 21st, 2024 surrounded by her family. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.

Leslie loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She had an impressive knowledge of the Bible and scripture and shared her faith with anyone she could. She was an incredibly loving mom, grandma (Mimi) and great-grandma; always willing to drop everything to help when needed. She loved to garden, work puzzles, feed her birds and read her bible. She also enjoyed sending cards to family and church members. Often she was sending up to 50 a week to anyone she knew was in need or to tell a loved one she was thinking of them. In her earlier years, Leslie was an avid runner and worked for 30 years as a Registered Nurse. She loved living on her cherished Van Auken Lake with Roger where she boated and skied with her family for years even deep water slalom skiing into her 70s. Leslie had an incredible heart and will pass on a legacy of faith generosity and compassion to many. She will be deeply missed.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Roger Sheline; children: Roger Daron (Ginger) Sheline and Renee (David) Stair; her 6 grandchildren: Lauren Hoye, Devin Stair, Madison Sheline, Reaghan Stair, Spencer Sheline, and Dawson Stair; great-grandchild, Audrey Hoye; sister, Carol (Bell) Jenkins; and brother, Charles Bell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bell and Bette (Llewellyn) Bell.
