Kendra Jones

Kendra Sue Jones (Doran) passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 29, 2024, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the age of 53. She was born on October 5, 1970, in Alma, MI.

Kendra loved Pizza Sam's, roller skating, camping, singing karaoke, and road trips, but above all she cherished her family. She was as selfless as any person could be, and would take any compromises for herself if it meant making someone else happy.

Kendra is survived by her mother, Christine Veenema; her beloved partner, Brian McCully; her children: Paul Arthur Jones III, Karie (Brandon) Andrews, Cynthia Jones, and stepson Nathan McCully; her grandchildren: Ann Andrews, Brandon Andrews Jr., Clara Andrews, and Hunter DeWitt; her brothers: Ron Doran, Michael (Mika) Veenema, Joey Doran; her sisters, Kylie Doran, Heather (Steve) Stebbins; her stepmother, Susan Doran; her nieces: Bethany Gurnee, Makala Doran, Sidney Doran, Emma Veenma, Cierah Stebbins; and her nephews: Dylan Veenema, Niklaus Helms, Aeros Helms, Gawain Helms and Owen Stebbins.

She was preceded in death by her fathers: Ronald J. Doran and Mike Veenema; her brothers: Tony and Adam Veenema; and her grandparents: Wayne Anderson, Lillice Anderson, Edward Doran, and Carroll Doran.

Kendra's vibrant spirit and love for her family will forever be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at noon at Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell, MI, followed by a memorial luncheon at East Superior Christian Church in Alma, MI.
