Joseph A. Bruno, M.D.

Joseph A. Bruno, M.D. of Richland, age 81, died on July 11, 2024 from a thoracic aneurysm. Joseph was born January 25, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to Joseph and Carmela (Grompone) Bruno.

After completing medical school at Universidad de Autonoma de Guadalajara in 1971, Joseph continued with his residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He later made his way to Kalamazoo where he practiced family and emergency medicine. He is adored by colleagues and patients alike.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Larry and Mario. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; children: Arlene (Bruno) Campbell, J. Patrick Bruno, Liam Bruno, and Kerry Bruno; their mother, Mary Ellen Bruno his former wife; grandchildren: Carmela and Dominic Campbell, Joseph and Vincent Bruno, and Declan DiMezza; step daughters: Jennifer Warner and Kimberly Hillis; and many nieces and nephews.
