Jacqueline Mitchell

Jacquelyn Mitchell, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and family on January 22, 2021. Her husband Jack has been waiting for her with open arms. Jacquelyn was born November 1, 1928 to Edward and Bessie (Farrow) Roberts being the 7th of 8 children. Jack and Jacqulyn married April 19, 1948 in Niles MI. Even though she went through many physical struggles from a young age, Jacquelyn kept the love of music and played the piano as long as her fingers let her. She had a broad love of music from country, instrumental, classical, to the music that led to Rock and Roll. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack, her siblings: Lila Berden Ivens, Henry Edward Roberts, Martha Lavina Ranson, Ernestine Janetta Ewing, Juanita Cherokee Lockridge, Carl William Robers, Lorraine Harriet Jackson, June Marie Parker, her son Joel Carter Mitchell; daughters in law: Lavern Mitchell and Vicky Mitchell. Surviving are her children: Jamison Charles (Rose) Mitchell, Jeffrey Carlton Mitchell, Jay Chester Mitchell; 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at 11 AM on April 16 at Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Bronson Commons for the wonderful care that Jackie received.
