Jacquelyn Mary Gist Sullivan (Jarzambek)

Jackie was born in Port Arthur, TX where she enjoyed a childhood filled with days spent at the Country Club, dancing and performing in many plays. She made many lifelong friends along the way. For college, she found herself in Colorado where she met one of her best friends, Kate, a friend who adored her so much that she introduced her to her brother just so they could truly be sisters. Jackie went on to marry Mike and had four children who she adored. She and Mike divorced and she raised her rambunctious kids on her own until she met the love of her life, Don Jarzambek, who brought three more teenagers to their family. Their life was full of fun, chaos and love. She worked in sales and marketing with Allen Testproducts, Automotive Diagnostics and Cort Furniture. She and Don also ran their own company, JP Systems, a computer and fulfillment company. There is no way to describe Jackie other then she was a small woman who was bigger than life. She loved her garden, reading and sewing but most of all she loved being with her family and friends sharing stories and laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents George Gist, Jennie Gist Hampton and John Hampton, her brother Judge Larry Gist, her son Brian Sullivan, and her grandson Connor Sorensen. She is survived by her husband Don Jarzambek, children Shawn Sullivan, Maura Sullivan (Denny Sorensen), Morgan Sullivan (Laura), Monica Jarzambek, Steve Jarzambek, and Jason Jarzambek. Grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Shannon, Steve Jr, Hunter, Jessica, Katie, August, Emma, Aidan and great granddaughters Emma, Violet and Delilah. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends who she cherished.
