Jack Tozer

John "Jack" Tozer went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 17, 2023. Jack was born June 28, 1930 in Largo, Florida to Earl and Sarah (Sellers) Tozer. Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Haverkamp. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War years. Jack spent most of his life in the Kalamazoo area where he owned and operated Plaza Bakery in the Eastwood Plaza shopping center. Upon retirement, Jack and Pat spent winters at their home in Florida. They also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Jack was an avid builder and flyer of radio-controlled airplanes. He also played the saxophone and had a special appreciation for jazz music.

Jack was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church and, most recently, attended Northeastern Baptist Church. Jack's life was guided by his faith in Jesus Christ and love for his family.
