Harold Nelson

Age 91, died February 13, 2013 at Friendship Village, Kalamazoo. He was born April 26, 1921 in Paw Paw the son of Fred and Hulda Nelson. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1947 with a B.S. in Agriculture. Harold was an Army Veteran of WWII and worked at Purdue University for 34 years with the Extension Service. He was active with the South Bend Rotary Club and enjoyed woodworking, reading and History. Harold was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Astrid Webb, Lilly Nelson and Carl Nelson. Surviving are nieces and nephews: Phyllis Webb, Joanna Neuduck, Marilyn Webb and Bill (Pat) Webb and many great nieces and great nephews. Graveside services with full military honors will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
