Gloria (Mohney) Romence

Gloria (Mohney) Romence went to be with the Lord January 4, 2020. She was born September 19, 1925 in Glenwillard, PA. On June 4, 1992 she married Paul Romence who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Beth (Bob) Tipton of Scotts; Gay Finchem of Colorado; Carol (J. David) Carr of Georgia; Gregory (Ellen) Mohney of Indiana and foster son Everett (Equilla) Holdridge of Florida; step-daughters Carol Arnett of Kalamazoo, Bonnie Willams, Diane (Dick) Gowell and step-son Bob Romence all of Portage. Also surviving are 46 grand and great grand-children and very special friends Neil Banschbach and Tere Marshall. Her belief as a caring Christian was to help others. In later years she worked for Senior Services helping seniors achieve success. She and her husband Paul worked tirelessly for the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, the Kalamazoo Tent Ministry, Life Chain and area churches. Prayer meetings and Bible studies filled their home. The family plans to have a memorial celebration this summer and suggests any donations might be given to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission in her memory.
