Surviving are his dear wife: Elsie; children: Paul Espinoza, Gilbert Espinoza III, Edward Luna, and Alvina Espinoza; stepchildren: Frank (Nora) Vidal and Marcos Vidal; grandchildren: Eliseo Perez and Isabel Perez; siblings: Estella DeLeon, Linda Longoria, Mary Lou Paderes; half-sisters: Candy (Eloy) Mitchell, Lupe (Jerry) Chavez, and Melissa (Gene) Rodriguez; 18 nieces and nephews, and many more extended family.
