Frank Alfred Reynolds (90) of Fremont, Michigan died on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at his daughter’s home in Kalamazoo where he had been living for the last six years. He was born on February 3, 1933 in Hesperia, Michigan. The son of Merton and Dewey Reynolds, he lived most of his life in Newaygo County. Frank was a devoted husband, a great father, and always put his family first. Frank was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He served with the United States Army 110th Mountain Division, stationed in Germany. He had a long career as an HVAC technician, and was always mechanically inclined. In his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the great outdoors. Frank had a great sense of humor. He loved to laugh and enjoyed life.
Members of his family include his two children: Kirk (Kathy) Reynolds, Kimberly (Michael) Shinavier; four grandchildren: Rachel (David) Dellucci, Gunnar Reynolds, Matthew Shinavier, Olivia Shinavier; two great granddaughters: Ruby and Rynleigh. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane in 1997, two sisters, one brother, five brothers-in-law, and his beloved dog, Peanut.
Cremation has taken place and Frank will be buried next to his wife Jane at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont, Michigan.
