Dylan Nash was a compassionate young man with an brave heart. He loved his family, and he always stood up for his brothers and sisters. He had the ambition to enter the trades and possibly become a welder.

The 1990’s marked the advent of the electronic era. The World Wide Web and lap top computers were the norm. In Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mark Nash and Kathleen Carlson eagerly awaited the birth of their first child. On March 3, 1990 they were blessed with the healthy birth of their son Dylan Levi Nash at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

Dylan grew up in Lawton, Michigan with the company of seven siblings, David, Thomas, Mary, Mason, Nathan, Noel, and Maximus. He was close to his cousins, especially Brenton. As a child Dylan was quite the little rascal. He was all boy! He loved to run around and Dylan was one of the fastest runners in the town. He also loved sports and the great outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with the family pets, and regularly visited his grandmother.

Dylan attended the Lawton Schools where he put his running abilities to good use by joining the athletic program. Football was his favorite sport; he was a running back. After completing the ninth grade at Lawton, Dylan enrolled at Michigan Avenue Academy, a small private school in Paw Paw. This was a much better fit for Dylan.

In his free time Dylan enjoyed watching Comedy Central and the History Channel. Action Adventure was his favorite movie genre. He liked listening to music and recently attended Ozzfest, a heavy metal concert featuring Ozzy Osbourne and other performers. Dylan enjoyed playing video games, especially Halo with his brother David.

Family was the center of Dylan’s life, and he was always calm under pressure. When his apartment caught on fire, he helped save the lives of his family members and other tenants. He also notified the authorities. Dylan stood up for his mother, brothers and sisters on all occasions. He deeply cherished his family, and he was the happiest in their company. Among the many people who loved him was his girl friend Tiffany Snow. Dylan loved Tiffany and spent much of his free time with her. Dylan will be greatly missed and live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

"On the wings of an eagle our son will fly through the heavens!"
