Age 92, died peacefully with her family at her side on July 22, 2021 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Diane was born July 20, 1929, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Nicholas and Frieda (Martens) DeVries. She was a school bus driver for Portage Schools for over 30 years. Diane’s passion was flying and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lewis Meeker in 1999; 3 children: Mike Meeker, Dave Meeker and Paula Minshall; and in-laws: Jim Meeker and Louise Kevit. Surviving members of her family include a son: Daniel (Julie) Meeker; daughters-in-law: Judi Meeker and Nancy Meeker; son-in-law, Doug Minshall; sister-in-law, Marian Meeker; 12 grandchildren: Kristen, Melissa, Stephanie, Maureen, David, Joe, Derek, David, Carrie, Bradley, Katie, and Johnny; many great-grandchildren; neighbor, caregiver and close dear friend, Kenneth Gray; and many other friends; and her two cats of which she adored: Goldie and Cleo.
