Daniel Middlestadt, age 70, of Marcellus died suddenly on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born on November 9, 1950 in Paw Paw, the son of Daniel and Leone (Wolfe) Middlestadt. Daniel was one of 4 children and grew up mainly in Marcellus where as a kid he rode motorcycles and bikes. As an adult he enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and deer hunting. Daniel was mechanically inclined which he learned from his father and was quite handy around the house. He had a kind heart who would do anything for anyone and he was extremely friendly to everyone he met. His family described him at times of being stubborn and could be very vocal at times, but above all else he loved his family and his dogs. On June 23, 2017 he married Roberta Brockman who had been the love of his life for more than 30 years. His memory will be fondly cherished by all they knew and loved him. Surviving members of his family include his wife Roberta; a daughter Sherry Middlestadt; a son Sky; 2 siblings: Bonnie (Charles) Six, and Gregory Busch; 5 grandchildren: Zachary, Breanne, Carter, Mason and Riley. He was preceded in death by 2 children: Dawn Kelley and Daniel Ray Middlestadt Jr.; a grandchild Courtney Kelley; and a brother James Middlestadt. Cremation has taken place and a gathering to celebrate his life will take place at a later date. He will be buried in Bly Cemetery on the family plot. Memorial donations may be made directly to the family. Visit Daniel’s personal webpage at www.BetzlerLifeStory.com where you may archive a favorite memory or photo, and sign his online guestbook.
