Dan Stermer

Daniel Stermer of Kalamazoo, age 63, died on April 9, 2023. Dan was born March 6, 1960 in Kalamazoo to Richard and Doris (Geissel) Stermer. Growing up, Dan and his siblings helped raise crops and animals on the family farm and participated in 4H with his leather crafting skills. He developed a prankster sense of humor, and always looked for ways to make people laugh. In his free time, he often rode his bicycle around town, collected old comic books, and enjoyed watching the newest Marvel movies. Dan was preceded in death by his dad. Surviving are his mother; siblings: Bruce (Barbara) Stermer, Sandy Mullins, Dennis (Jana) Stermer, Ken (Gayle) Stermer, and Perry (Brenda) Stermer; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13th from 2-4 PM at VFW, 8845 S. Sprinkle Rd., Kalamazoo.
