“Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything- C.S. Lewis

On September 19th, 2024, Cynthia Ann Dart passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, Corey Ryder and Shannon Andrews.

Our mother was an incredible woman, full of faith, love and laughter. She taught us about the Lord, about loving people and the Golden Rule of treating those how we wish to be treated. She taught us how to be strong in the face of life's challenges, always trusting in the Lord and using every setback as a way to grow stronger. She was beautifully resilient and highly resourceful and one of the hardest working people we have ever known.

Mom loved her Jesus and shared that love in every aspect of her life. She was kind and gentle and felt for others deeply. She was a Friend, Mother to us and all of our friends, a Sister, a Grandmother, a Niece, and Aunt, a reminder of the importance of LOVE and its power in this life. She was a self employed-entrepreneur, but her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren, Logan Michael and Faith Erin Andrews, were her"angel babies,” and she adored them with all her heart, finding endless joy in every word they spoke and every moment she spent with them.

Her home was a place of warmth and laughter. She loved to cook nourishing home-cooked comfort foods and bake delicious treats with and for her family. Whether we were being silly or watching our favorite shows, playing games or doing things outdoors, she always made sure her home was a place of love and joy.

Mom was always ready to help someone, no matter what, and her wisdom and support changed the lives of everyone around her. Though she faced many challenges, Mom never let them define her. She showed us that faith, resilience and love could overcome anything. She was funny, hard-working, and loved deeply. She taught us to live our lives with the same strength and dedication.

Mom will be missed every single day. Every bit of air will carry her, every song a bird sings, every season, every sunrise and every sunset. She will forever surround us with her love. She is part of the fabric of the lives that she touched, those she created and those that she loved. She will be remembered for her faith, her love and the unshakeable strength she gave to all of us.

She is survived by her children, Corey L. Ryder and Shannon M. Andrews as well as grandchildren, sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. All of whom she loved so much. We love you mom, and you will never be forgotten.

Even though we turn the page, her story has been written and what a masterpiece it is!

No services are planned.
