Bonnie Jean Hough (Gleason) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. She was born March 17, 1949, in Allegan Michigan to Robert E Gleason and Myrtle Iva Butler. She has sisters Iona Fain of Fennville and Jeanette Garr of Grand Ledge. Preceded in death by brothers Robert Gleason and James Trimm.

She married her high school sweetheart Ron Paul Hough in April 1970 and had two children, Michael and Ron Junior and has one granddaughter, Riley Hough. She completed courses at Michigan State to become a Dietitian and had a lifelong love of cooking and baking for family and friends. She spent many years as the Dietary manager at Borgess Pipp Hospital in Plainwell as well as a nursing home in portage. Over the years she was known to teach many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends how to make homemade candy and cookies. She was also well known for her wedding cakes and her love of knitting and crafts. She was an avid bowler and competed in many tournaments on a league with her husband Ron for over 30 years.

In retirement, she loved to take care of her pool and garden. She canned fruits and vegetables, and helped her husband run their apiary often selling honey at the Otsego farmer's market. She also continued her collection of Winnie the Pooh and listening to Country music.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ron Sr., and son Michael Hough. The family will announce a small family service at the cemetery this spring .
