Life Story / Obituary
Alisa Ramsay was the middle daughter of Ken and Sheila (Rowe) Ramsay. Alisa struggled with many health issues after her spinal surgery in 2013, but always managed to keep a smile on her face. Breanna and Paige, Alisa’s sisters, were her everything. She loved visiting Breanna and Zach’s horses and she loved going to visit her sister Paige and her to-be brother-in-law, Andrew, in Indianapolis.
Alisa, “Kiki” to her sisters, loved car rides and visiting her relatives. The lake life was something she enjoyed; boat rides, food, and family. An avid music lover, she enjoyed all genres of music and would often take your hand and want to dance with you.
Holidays were Alisa’s favorite especially if they involved lights. She loved Christmas trees and lighted Halloween pumpkins. She had lights in her room that helped her relax and go to sleep.
Animals loved Alisa and she loved them. Snickers, Breanna’s horse, was her favorite. She was rarely without her picture of Breanna and Snickers. Animals knew how special she was and were often protective of her; from Finn to Apollo (Finn, her mother’s dog and Apollo, Paige’s dog) no one could approach her without out getting a protective side eye. Going to the fair and seeing all the animals was something she really looked forward to.
Alisa was a gift to her family. Though her special needs made her care sometimes more extensive, she was deserving of all the love and attention her family bestowed upon her.
She showed her family love by giving hugs and blowing the biggest kisses. She truly was the light of everyone’s life. It was impossible not to smile when she smiled or not to laugh when she laughed. She made an impact on everyone that met her, even if it was a brief moment. Alisa’s family will miss her smile, her laughter, and her presence in their lives.
Alisa died on February 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Shelly Ramsay; cousin, Dana Ramsay; great-uncle, Tom Pinta; and great-grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Charles Ramsay, Mr. & Mrs. Barton E. Rowe, Mr. & Mrs. John Machczynski, and Mr. & Mrs. Corris Pierce. Surviving are her parents; and siblings: Breanna (Zachary) Dieffenbach and Paige (Andrew Fabrizius) Ramsay.
