Theresa was one of the sweetest people around. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was outgoing and fun loving and she leaves behind many memories that her loved ones will forever hold.

She was born October 15, 1965 to Jack and Sharon Robbins, joining her sisters Michele and Laura. Susan, Shawn and Lisa were born in the next few years to complete the family and make the family home a lively place with plenty of laughter and excitement.

Theresa attended St. Mary’s School and Hackett High School, from where she graduated in 1983. She then attended CMU and GVSU.

She moved to Florida in 1987 and began working in a Chiropractic Office. It was there she met her future husband Rob Raffaele. They were married September 26, 1997.

On August 8, 1998, Theresa and Rob’s first son, Grant, was born. Their second son, Jake, was born on November 2, 2000. Theresa’s sons became her life. She loved watching them play sports and other activities. She chauffeured them to all events and activities.

Theresa loved hosting family events and took pride in decorating her house for various holidays. Theresa liked to attend concerts and sporting events. She always had scented candles burning.

Theresa was diagnosed with liver disease and received a liver transplant in March of this year. Although the transplant was successful, she developed several complications and her heart could no longer keep pumping sufficiently. She spent her last eight months hospitalized.

Theresa Lynn Raffaele (Robbins) of Plantation, FL, died August 20, 2018 in Miami, FL. Theresa’s family includes her husband, Robert Raffaele; two sons, Grant and Jake Raffaele; parents, Jack and Sharon Robbins; four sisters, Michele Robbins Hochstein, Susan Block, Shawn (Chris) Birman, and Lisa (Jeff) Cavanaugh; as well as many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Laura Robbins, preceded Theresa in death in 1980.
