A lifelong resident of Portage, Shirley (Kloosterman) Gruizenga went home to be with her Lord early Saturday morning, July 28th, 2018. She loved caring for everyone, even after retiring from her 40 year nursing career. She saw the beauty in everything. Shirley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dave and her son, Fate. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Thursday, August 2nd at 2:30pm. Memorial donations may be made to Kairos Dwelling.
