Life Story / Obituary

Age 58, died on October 6, 2020. Linda was born October 14, 1961 in Chester, PA. With a strong heart and a tenacity for life, Linda brought joy to everyone around her. She was known for her impeccable integrity and trustworthiness, traits she and her husband, Troy, raised their 2 sons with. With true determination, while raising her boys and working she also attended Davenport University, earning her bachelor’s degree in business management with a 4.0 GPA. She was even known to tactfully correct her professors on occasion. She had a passion for both gardening and cooking. Her flower and vegetable gardens rivaled the best of Better Homes and Gardens magazine and her meals were always lovingly prepared with fresh herbs and spices. As a family, Linda made sure they experienced everything life had to offer taking countless trips together around the country and overseas with Hawaii being a favorite destination. Linda shared her life with a one-of-a-kind group of special friends and family whose hearts are heavy with treasured memories.

Linda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jack; and 2 brothers, Buddy and Teddy. Surviving are her husband, Troy; children: Vincent (Julia) Carango and Nathan Carango; step-grandchildren: Oliver; her mother: Joan Newlan; siblings: Cindy (Fran) Scullion and Barry Lincoln; sister-in-law: Tracy (Brian) Rhodes; and nieces and nephews: Tim, Brittany, Brandon, Casey, Amber, Zachary, Austin, and Luke.
