Age 73, died on May 4, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice. John was born October 1, 1945 in Kalamazoo, the son of Merrill and Anna (Paulus) Prince. Always one to stay busy, John was an active volunteer for the Democratic Party for several years. He was a passionate supporter of the WMU Bronco’s, following their sports teams as closely as the most devoted coach. He also greatly enjoyed sharing time with his morning breakfast group. Surviving are his brother, Bruce (Linda) Prince; 2 nieces, Cheryl Harris and Michelle Prince; and grandnephew, Nick Harris. Cremation has taken place. A Time of Celebration will be held on Saturday (MAY 11) at 4pm at Betzler Life Story Funeral Home, 6080 Stadium Dr. Kalamazoo (269) 375-2900.
