Died peacefully on November 29, 2018. Katy was born December 22, 1939 in Appleton, WI the daughter of John and Ruth (Lyman) Fanselow. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending summers in northern Michigan with her family. She had a fondness towards all animals and rescued many over the years. As a Registered Nurse, she especially enjoyed caring for her patients, particularly in the Trauma Care Unit. Surviving are her 3 children: Anne “Stevie” (Kevin) Finn, Chuck Chase and Molly (Rob) Wagner; 7 grandchildren: Cory, Brooke, Natalie, Danny, Tanner, Lauren and Leland; 2 brothers: Jack (Jean) Fanselow from California and Dan (Senna) Fanselow from Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Southwest Michigan or Kalamazoo Humane Society.
